This was my previous land-yacht!

It was a 1988 Grand Marquis LS with about 96,000 miles on it when I traded it in.  It was silver with wonderful blue velour, a great chrome instrument panel that lit up with a cool green glow at night , a SONY stereo, and  4 new shocks and a rear swaybar to get it to handle better.  It did...to an extent.  I think the springs were a bit worn!  But for such an old, large car, it handled ok.  It had the 5.0 FI V8 and did awful on gas.  But it was peppy, and I liked it as a whole.  After about 3 years, though, I started to get tired of the "Over 10 Year Old" gremlins, and the rust was really getting to me.  I was tireing of it's looks as well.  It looked great when all clean and detailed, but the nose was about an inch off to the passenger side due to an accident, and I was a bit fed up with cleaning whitewalls.  When the tranny started to slip, it was the last straw.  I should have sold it myself, but didn't want to get sued due to the lemon law in MA, so it got traded for my '98 Vic LX on the main page.  I don't know where it is now, but it will never be cared for again, I'm sure...
